went wheeling sat and sunday with basically the same group. here's a link to the pics.

took the weenie-wagon saturday and the fo-d on sunday.

so the scenerio is...saturday, mildly deep snow bashing consisted of al's v8j40, ryan's v8j40, nick's (from rocky mountain cruisers...shameless plug http://www.rockymountaincruisers.com/ouray.html) pickemup, my weenie wagon and ryan's buddy dave in a rubi (dave does have an fj62...just need to teach him how much more capable it is than the heep). so we stop at the first hill climb....dave goes to take off and can't move until he airs down (no one else has bothered to air down cause it ain' that bad...and i can't cause i f%$#ed up a bead on the new year's run and it slow leaks at lower pressures...)...so , now it's cruisers 1, heeps 0.

then sunday consists of everybody minus al's 40. (he did walk up part of the trail though). i get a little too happy with the skinny pedal and burn through the ice sinking my open rear end (i have an arb in the front, but no air source yet). the heep has to pull me out (yank actually cause it's too small to just tug my brutus cruiser). later, his locked front and rear butt gets stuck on an obstacle that i bypass since my open cruiser won't do it anyway....so, do i win since it's now two jeep stucks to one cruiser stuck, or does he win since he aired down saturday and got out of it and i didn't try the harder line (actually, at this point, we were in a frozen creek bed and all of it was kinda tough)?

anyway, here's the link to the pics

i did make it out with the least "carnage" i scraped my paki top. the rubi got two matching kisses in the right rear corner, the pickemup dimpled the left rear corner and peeled back a tailight guard, and ryan's 40 bent the rear crossmember, busted a taillight, broke a throttle cable, inverted a shackle, polised the tcase and inverted a shackle, but he had to work real hard for all of it :flipoff2:
