Here's the story. vsc & trac off lights are on. Lights came on 2 weeks ago. Initially I could turn off LC restart and they would sometimes come back on once I started moving again, not every time but it got to the point within 30 min. that they stayed on as I started moving. Reset everything by pulling battery terminal, no help. Ohmed all wheel speed sensors, all appear ok. Brake fluid level is fine, replaced positive battery terminal, it was giving me starting issues, has for the past 6 mo. Visually checked all wiring that I could see, southern no rust or salt vehicle. I've done research on internet not finding a fix or even a duplicate problem. Took to mechanic; codes co200 c1207 c1223 c1246 c1340. He cleared them and lights stayed off for about 1 mile. Took back & only code was c1207 Park neutral switch. I ordered the part took back to mechanic he checked codes and that was the only code still showing up after a week of driving. He replaced the PNS and code for it is still present. Lights now come on in reverse as soon as LC is moved forward gear don't come on as much. but the issue seems to be when vehicle is starting to move not while moving, but they have come on a couple of times while still in park after starting. This one has me stumped and I'm not going back to mechanic, wasted $370.00. I want to try zero re-calibration. Do I use the OBD2 connector port above gas pedal or the Diagnostic port on right firewall behind the air filter? If anyone has that procedure or the pin #s to jump that would be appreciated as well. I do most of my work myself & my guess at this point is a frayed wire somewhere, I did have to cut trailer hitch wiring 2 years ago but taped it all up and water sealed. Not too familiar with the yaw or steering sensor or how to check. No recent alignment or new tires. LC has no issues when driving with lights on, brakes fine even abs works I believe and there is NO abs or any other lights on. Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry for the ramble but wanted to give as much info as possible. Been driving land cruisers for 30 years and won't have anything else! Thanks, Joe

Any dash lights out or have/had LED dash lights?

Here's my story. Just fixed/solved my c1207 two days ago. After putting in LED dash lights and console lights the code was thrown. I put all brand new incandescent bulbs back in (after hearing the low voltage draw can throw codes), still throwing code with VSC/TRAC OFF lights on. Almost sent in to dealer to start the painful process of looking for the answer - it's been months. Last ditch effort was to replace the D bulb as well as put in a single dash bulb I had forget to order (above the tach). Pissed, no luck. BUT, noticed the P bulb is out. Replaced that one and BOOM! No code, no VSC/TRAC OFF lights. Who knows if you have a any dash lights out, but that was $9 fix.

FYI - the new D & P lights are not nearly a bright as the original ones. I know there are a lot of burn out Ds out there.

Good luck!

I had VSC and TRAC OFF lights on in mine when i purchased it. They weren't on when my friend did the test drive, but were there when I went to pick it up 800 miles away. I used it as a bargaining chip to reduce the price further, beyond the agreed upon price. This manual reset worked for me, then I had a friend use his Tech tool to do zero point calibration after we installed my OME suspension.

Lights went away and stayed away with this method, we only did the Zero Point Calibration because the Slee install calls for it and I wanted to make sure everything was good while he had the computer hooked up.

Did zero point calibration and cleared all stored codes. vsc light showed no pending codes, just blinked fast. trac & vsc light both come on as soon as lc is under 8 mph or sitting still for more than 10 seconds. They don't come on while driving in froward or reverse over 8 mph, just when I stop. any more ideas? I'm about ready to take to stealership...

First thought was zero point calibration but you have done that already.

@HFDPNL - What is the "Manual Reset" procedure you mention above? Sorry if I missed it in here somewhere... my VSC lights are on.

Pretty sure it was post #5 here Saved myself $100 fee

Looking back at it, I'm not 100% that this was the specific thread. I don't remember all those steps, but I remember it being a lot jumping those terminals then disconnecting and re-connecting the terminals in the Diagnostic port under the hood. If there's another thread, it's here on Mud.

Additionally, the Tech tool, or one like it will work to reset everything.

What is your battery condition like? These systems monitor battery voltage, C1207 is linked to this, as mentioned LED dash replacement, non OEM dash lights could cause this. Start with the basics of battery condition, check battery terminals, alternator output, any accessories cut into circuits to be disconnected, any non OEM dash lamps renewed.

This was my problem guys... squirrels got into my wiring harness on the back of the engine/top of the transmission.
Tough to get to the connectors and you need both hands; this was my solution...
Transmission harness removed - has 11 connectors on it!
