I want to install an oil temp gauge on the 12HT engine, but what is, beside the oil plug,a good place for the sensor? Is there an extra plug in the engine near the oil pressure sensor to install this?

Is there a sender which provides both Oil Temp and Oil Pressure?
Does anyone know of a dual gauge?

sorry, I didn't read your first post correctly. No, I don't know of any dual-use sensors for oil. Good luck with your search! :)

Not familiar with the 12HT but I recently bought one of these for my 1HD-T. It has multiple ports for temperature and/or pressure sensors.

I reckon the aussie engine guard watch dog could be used for oil temp as it is a little thermocouple which usually bolts to the head to monitor overall engine temp esp the head so you don't crack it. But in your circumstance you would find somewhere which it bolts to a good source of oil, i reckon accessing the sump would give the most oil in mass.

I have a jack master sandwich adapter on my 2h, I like it as i use it for oil pressure for an electrical autometer (going vdo next time, not really happy with autometer over rated over priced, not very accurate) and mechanical marshall in the bay, the oem ones are not very good. It's really cool a few folks are making the sandwich plates, good idea for folks who like bells and whistles.

I remember someone else on mud wanted an oil temp for their hz a year or two back.

Pardon ignorance, hasn't the 12ht the same oil cooler as the 2h? Same core I believe. What are you going to do with the oil temp?
