After my last oil change I noticed that my oil pressure is running higher than before. I've always ran mineral oil and usually 10W-30 (usually Quaker State on Cary's advice and it's cheap).
This time I used Pennzoil 5w-30 (which is made by the same company as Quaker state). After the change I've noticed that the oil pressure is running at or near the upper middle slash on the gauge (I assume this is upper limit point of what's acceptable).
This is noticeably higher than before but the wierd this is that it's with a lighter oil (5W-30).
Any ideas? I would normally worry about it except after Dan's oil galley plug incident, it got me thinking that much higher oil pressure can be a bad thing.
