Hi,

During the change of wires and spark plugs from my engine (1FZ-FE), I found a little oil in the tubes where they placed the spark plugs.
I pulled the spark plugs were in good condition (no trace of oil on the electrodes), so the oil does not rise from the cylinders, inclusive, there was only oil on the top of the poles of the cables that come in tubes.
There was more oil in the cylinder number 4, 5 and 6, but no spark plug had oil, on the inside or on the outside.
Where does that oil may come ?

Ideas ?

Thank you very much.

Look up the threads on the valve cover. You'll want to do that while you're in there.

Spark plug grommets are leaking.

11193-15010 (x6) is what you need.

Good luck.

These grommets go at the base of the spark plug tube where the tube touches the plug? Is this gasket a part of the OEM plug wire kit? I just installed new plugs and wires and had this issue.
