So spent this weekend serving up some love for Miss Keiko. Got her a new radiator (Thanks again 4Cruisers!) and after a good burping and test drive to verify no more overheating I treated myself to a nice cold beverage and congratulated myself on a job well done. But... (You all knew that was coming didn't you?) today I go for a cruise and stop at a store only to see coolant dripping underneath . Seems the oil coolant hose(?) decided to split on me. It's the straight hose that runs directly under the fuel pump (15777(?)). I can't seem to find one locally, does anyone know the dimensions of this hose? Can I substitute a generic cut to fit hose? Thanks all, your help is always helpful!

Sounds like one of the hoses going to the oil cooler - the rectangular deal mounted to the bottom of the block just behind the oil filter - two big bolts on the face....if so, then yes you can get cut to fit hose at any auto parts place. I can't remember the size off hand. I cut a chunk off my old hose and took it to the store and eyeball matched it.

Glad the radiator worked out for you - you didn't waste any time getting it in :-).

I replaced that hose from Napa... just brought it in and they measured and cut me a new length. Easy straight forward swap. Also did the lower rad hose at that time too. Both just measured and cut, no specific hose part numbers.
