Well the 80 is due for an oil change and I am kinda stuck on what to do. The dealership (Atlanta Toyota in Duluth) charges $32 for the oil change and if I do it myself it will roughly be about $38 (9 qts. plus a toyota filter)plus having to dispose of the oil myslef. Any input would be great. I use to change the oil myself all the time on the 60, but I thought it was always cheaper that taking it to the dealership.

s***e, if the dealer will do it for $32.00 jump it.
Just make sure it's not one of those 5 qt deals. and they charge you $8.00 for each additional qt. or something. $32.00 sounds cheap.
.

yea its $32 for the cruiser, i checked yesterday...cars are like $25

nuff said. $32 and an hour of your life. Ask them if they want to sponsor a little ole' Toyota 4WD club.

An oil change at a dealer is what we call a "Loss Leader". They will do it for a loss with the hope that you will have them do other things that they actually make money on at the same time.

I bought my old tC from them and I have always been treated great. I will mention GA CRUISERS to the service manager I usually go to while I am there this afternoon and see what they say.

Took the cruiser in yesterday afternoon and it ended up being $31.72 total . I spoke to one of the managers there about sponsoring the GA Cruisers and he gave me the General Managers card since he wasnt there when I arrived. The manager I spoke to was very interested in our group and said the General Manager would probably do something for us. I mentioned how some dealerships give discounts on parts and he they could probably work something out. I am going to call the general manager today and I will keep yall updated. I am stoked cause I need some parts.

I lucked out, the local dealership in Buford did a eary bird special, 7-8am 12.99, 8-9am 13.99 and so on till 10am. I got my 62 done for cheap. with extra oil, I paid less than 20

Atlanta Toyota always gave us 15% in the past on parts. I havent bought from them in a while as I havent needed anything. Most of the others (MOG, Conyers) give us 20%...Brian
