Is there a certain offset needed to fit the 17" wheels on a LX 570? I thought I read spacers were needed, but found other posts where it looked like there were no issues.

+35 is a great offset. That'll cover just about every tire size you may reasonably want to fit to the LX, from 33s to 35s.

My 17" ICON Six Speeds are 25mm offset. I think you are OK with no more than 30mm but my truce is a LC so not 100% sure the LX is the same for this.

Almost checked out, but think I'll hold out for some used 18" Tundra wheels at 1/2 the cost. Maybe even get a set of lightly used tires thrown in.

I like the trd pro tundra wheels…and heritage wheels from the land cruiser..:but I think the offset on those is set up for 31-31.5” tires.

the 35mm offset on the ones posted here are more appropriate for 32.5”+ tires.

plus the trd pro/heritage wheels weigh like 28 lbs…their going rate is around $500-$600 each.

the normal tundra trd wheels going rate is $200 or so each…but they weigh 31-32 lbs.

The real upside to the wheels posted here are low cost, good offset, and relatively low weight.

There are definitely some cheap tundra wheels out there. The OEM 18" 5 spoke aluminum wheels supposedly only weigh about 29lbs and can regularly be had for <$200 for a set. But you might do a little tire shopping first. The cost of 17" tires vs 18" will close some of that gap between new wheels and used tundra wheels. And if you are wanting to go to bigger tires, the OEM wheels will need a spacer, once again closing that gap even more.

The wheel listed here at 17x8.5 et35 is nearly the perfect off road size wheel for a 200. I don't know anything about the quality, but @200/wheel, that's not a bad price.

Thanks for the additional clarifications and help...

I'm looking at getting the 17" AlphaEquipt rims and 285/70/17 KO2's.

Another advantage of 17” wheels and the 285/70R17 is it’s a standard Wrangler /Rubicon size. Finding take offs isn’t that hard in that size. Ko2s and Falken AT3Ws are usually what people are taking off in my region.

I decided to give the Alpha Equipt Commands a try. 17x8.5 +35mm offset and about 26lbs. I am liking the fitment much better than the KMC Bully OLs I first put on(+18mm offset). Mounted the OE TPMS in the protected valve spot and the APEX Engineering valves in the other valve location.
