OK, So is anyone else getting excited about McGrew this weekend??? I guess its probably just me being FNG...
 
The Cascade Cruisers will be well represented, with a 55, 62, 100 and my Supercharged FJC!
I wussed out of the obstacles two years ago, let's see what happens this year!

I have not received my "registration packet" and was looking for info to confirm the start time and stumbled upon this thread. I will be there in either my mini or 80 depending on whether my mini is back together. I feel the need to butt in with advice for the fng. Its great to be prepared and have a bunch of goodies bolted to your truck but keep them on the inside. Damage I have seen every year is stuff being scraped of the truck (racks and such that get grabbed by branches). For this trail I will remove my rack and unscrew my antennae. Airing down will definitely smooth things out a bit. One last thing is that those rangers will really check your truck closely like in crevices behind plastic fender liners, inside bumpers, unplugged cross members and its a lot easier to wash your truck at home.

Last call for those running Friday:

Dinner at Wild River in Grants Pass Thursday night at 7 just for fun.

Meeting at O'Brien store Friday morning at 9 and on the trail by 9:30.

Make sure your rig is washed and the fender wells are clean.

Caravan out of Grants Pass (my house) at 8 AM Friday to the O'Brien store if anyone wants to join.

Make sure to bring your swimming mask and sunblock!
 
See you at your place at 0800 :) oh.... and pizza the night before ;)
 
If anyone has a spare seat driving out back to O'Brien Saturday morning my friend would like a ride out. He was thinking of joining us (riding in with me) Fri. and camping, but can't stay through Sund.

I will have room.. as long as the Wif dosent pack the bathroom sink! Tomorrow at pizza let me know if you (HE) needs it.

Thanks! He is my best friend from High School, cool guy, packs light. Dont get to hang out with him much these days, so would be cool if we could work something out :)

Just unhooked the trailer, packed the truck and finished scrubbing the fenders! I'm ready! :grinpimp: Now all I need is a really good nights sleep in my own nice comfortable bed before leavin' in the am :grinpimp: See you guy's at diner.

Oh and just a clarification, I think Ty is looking to get his friend out of Sourdough on Saturday...not the other way around... I think.
