Kidding! WOW I am glad I found this section- finally! I have posted a few pics from the ole camera phone in some other threads, but I don't have any on the laptop yet
Will post as soon as I get one of them "hook your cameracorder to your computer thingys and press send" cords. Anyway, here is what I've been up to:

-'84 FJ60 bought it 2 months ago, 210,XXX miles stock, installed a 4" OME Kit with shackle reversal, 32x11.50 on stock wagons, the Wife's DD

-'03 Tacoma Double Cab, 5VZ, stupid Auto non trd, bought her stock and installed a Bilstein 2 1/2" leveling kit and K&N, owned it 2 years, sold it to buy the 60.

-2 or 3 s***boxes
""Hell yeah I live in the past... IT'S CHEAPER THERE""
-76 Chevy Blazer 2wd, lowered, removable top that doesn't leak, white with blue pearl paint, could be a show truck if body rust was considered pretty...
-'71 Kawasaki H1 500, ported and polished, pipes, good ole drum brakes, not original but fun as hell to ride
-74 Yamaha RD350, tuned expansion chambers and that's it! (I grew up riding this bike since 13ish, Also runs like a raped ape!! She puts a hurtin' on the H1...
-69 Honda 175 (Street bike), all original and cherry!
-78? Can't remember Yamaha TT 500 Street legal dirt bike(At least it was intended from the factory that way) but she isn't now!!
-A whole R/C Fleet.
Glad to be here!

Ok finally some cruiser porn, but more of the bdsm type. Pics are for insurance, but first one is a tease.

Yummy locked goodness!

The others are proof my wife bashed the rig. :( luckily I have a spare fender hanging in the back. Bad news is wife hates it now. Guess I'll have to get a hundy =)

Yep, fuel gauge on E. I'm used to that! Welcome!

Danny

Oh yeah, she drinks more than I do! But I'm a good enabler and filled her tank right after the locker check. I swear that gauge is broken, seems to hit E in no time at all. Sometimes I wonder if a heroin problem would be cheaper!

LOL yeah but not as fun! We can just keep drinking with our Cruisers...

wow good to see some 40's

Hi There,

Bit of a Noob to the SOCAL Area only been here for a few weeks, I do own a 40 series though so I guess that helps me fit in with you guys at least.

Live out near Escondio and drive a Mustard 78 FJ40. Once we get settled a little will be keen to get out and doing some wheeling with any other cruiser guys in the Area.

Should have P/S sorted by then and can fit a smaller steering wheel and fit my fat ass in there a little better :crybaby:

Anyway, always had a 40 and guess I always will, dunno why they aren't what you would call comfy but they are cool and that is often more important.

So looking fwd to meeting some cruiser guys, who knows if that Swap Meet thing gets off the ground I might even be able to buy some cool cruiser bits

Oh here is a picture of the old Girl, cause everyone loves pics

Wow, that thing is nice and original! Welcome!

So happy I found this website! I currently have a 1985 BJ60 Turbo Diesel. This is my fourth Land Cruiser and I have loved em all. I'm a southern CA native. I surf, snowboard, wheel, wakeboard, do triathlons, marathons, camp or whatever gets me outside. Unfortunately due to work or injuries I haven't been able to participate in many of these events lately. Can't wait to get back in the grove again.

Welcome! Let's see some pics!

Im slowly starting to restore it and am excited for the work ahead. That being said Im not very mechanically inclined and would definitely like to meet up with some of you in the near future who can hopefully help me out. -Thanks

I seen you! I remember that pipe for sure! Was maybe 3 weeks ago, The wife and I was north bound on the 5 and you were merging on around the area of the 78. I was like "holy S babe you see that stack on the back?!"
Clean Cruiser!

Danny

Haha, I was tempted to keep it but it was very poorly welded on. now that its gone i can hopefully mount a spare tire in its place soon as i find the gear. AND yes, before anyone mentions it i know i need bigger tires.

Introducing myself and my truck. I've been on the 60 forum some and made a trip to Borrego last year with some of you. Here is the truck...

I put a 3FE in it, Hell Creek lift, and a few other goodies. Looking forward to getting back on the trail soon.
