looks slick, muddy and full of body damage! Looks like fun :) Not seeing to many wagons.

Who's yellow rig with the coil-overs? Very nice.

That's Karl's from Indianapolis. He owns his own 4x4 custom fabrication shop.

Karl says thanks - drinkin coffee with him now ;)

Roger shot some pics of the FJC on Slickrock on Wed, so those are loaded...

plus about 80 from Thurs, including the Indy boys on Slickrock and some of the band last night, plus some camp shots....band was AWESOME!

Did they put fill around the big rocks at the bottom of guardrail?

They did slickrock again times 2 this afternoon with a Warren Miller crew in tow. They say there should be footage on the FJ website on Thurs. Pretty neat to see and drive the FJ, that A-trac works like a charm, and thank TLC for the solid skidplate, they come in handy at Tellico...

guy spent 5 years workin on the rig, this was the inaugural ride....the allen set screw for the linkage connection to the steering box wasn't locktite'd, and he lost his steering around the corner.

given 50 other scenarios, this was the next best to just stopping...appeared to be zero damage (other than cage scuffs) and a proper set screw with LOTS of locktite kept him wheelin great for the rest of the weekend.....

More pics

Here are some different shots that I took while at GSMTR, sort of a captured moment that caught my eye. I'm planning on uploading the rest of the shots to our web site soon.

I had a blast!! 364 days in the waiting and it paid off.

Enjoy.

CJ and Beno,
Yeah, Carl is actually my neighbor. Carl's rig did amazingly well on lower 2, walked right up.

I had a blast, truck took a beating...just got in last night, I will have pics up later today. It was nice meeting more ih8muders....

SWEET! i plan on going up to tellico later this summer when my schedule slows down a little.

How are the 37s treating you Al?

This one's for Woody

So it was my first GSMTR and I had a blast. I also met a lot of folks on IH8MUD, and it was great to put faces with names. Woody, thanks so much for the seat on Saturday while Brother Dan was wheelin the FJ with the trail team. I'll post pics and video somewhere and soon. But in the mean time, this one's for you Woody!

nice pic ;)

great time here....wheeled the 80 on Thurs and Sat morning and wheeled the 40 on Sun/Mon/Tues/Fri....junked an alternator as I worked the "hard" line on lower 2 and relied on LOTS of help to nurse it to the top....woulda been MUCH happier to break something versus some stupid engine issue...ah well....

left at 2p EST on Sat for home....drove until 2:30a CST and slept overnite on the WI/IL border....up at 5:30, home at 7:30....even made church this morning :D

is it a bad sign when you almost fall asleep in Chicago while waiting for contruction traffic to move?!?

Fri pics pending in the Gallery.....and a few folks have emailed me some that'll get loaded soon too....thanks!!

Thanks to STLCA

Thanks to Roger, Corky and the STLCA crew for hosting another great GSMTR. Except for more rain than usual, GSMTR was a great time. Really enjoyed meeting the FJ Trail Crew; wheeling with Roger, Rob, and Woody; and catching up with old friends.

email 'em out - already added some to the gallery (since I NEVER get pics of my own rigs on the trail....unless someone else drives!)

Brother Burl,

Glad to see that you made it home OK after losing a wheel on the way home.
