WANTED: Clean tailgate to fit 90 4x4 pickup.

PM me

Here's a pic of the Mickey Thompson wheels unmounted. Selling the set of 4. They're 15inx8in. Came off a Tacoma. Ran for less than 10,000 miles, so they're practically new. Asking 400obo for the set of 4 wheels. Looking for a quick sell. Thanks.

WTB:
- transmission jack. If you've got a decent unit sitting around, sell it to me!
- Plasma Cutter. After borrowing one a couple of times from Jerry (Thanks Jerry!!) it's high time I bought my own. Prefer a Hypertherm Powermax 30 as it does 110v and 220v, but will consider any 220v plasma for the right price.

1994 FZJ80 - Feeler - CLT

It looks like I may have a new project headed my way which will require me to sell my red 80 - excited as hell about the prospect of the new project, but disappointed by the prospect of selling the 80.

I will post up more details tonight or tomorrow (9/24), but if you know of anyone looking for a reasonably well taken care of and freshly base-lined 80, please send them my way.

Highlights:
  • I am the 4th owner (if you include the flipper who owned it for 3-4 weeks between owner 1 & 3)
  • Clean CarFax with no accidents. I believe all body panels are original. All glass definitly is. No rust.
  • Pretty decent maintenance records. HG has not been done and no evidence of it failing. PHH bypassed. Cooling system service in July.
  • Triple locked with CDL switch and pin7
  • 189K miles
  • OME Heavy/Medium lift
  • 33" Bridgestone's
  • ARB front with Warn 12K with new synthetic line from Southeast Overland
  • Slee Step Sliders and Xfer skid (new)
  • A bunch of other stuff and parts to be installed / included with the sale
Price - Still thinking through that and figuring out where it needs to be

It goes back to the body shop Friday to have the hood refinished as a result of the Memorial Day Weekend hailstorm here in Charlotte. After that, it'll be available.

I actually went and looked at an 80 with a guy I work with this evening. He is looking for a decent 80. If you want to pm me what you're looking to get for it I would be glad to pass it along to him.

I've got one of the transmission jack adapters for a regular floor jack if you need to borrow it anytime.

Johnny, I use an ATV jack as a trans jack, seems to me more versatile. I see good deals on them from time to time, bought mine at Sears at half price sale.

How do you deal with situations where you need tilt, just stacking wood up on the jack until the transmission is leaned where you want?

How did you rig up a chain to secure the transmission to the jack?

Sell ya mine for 20 less than I payed for it and you do not have to put it together either.:)

The ATV jack sort of straddles a trans or T-case. I use a ratchet strap, the jack is set up for them. No tilt feature. Keep in mind that 99% of the time I am using it along with a chain hoist or cherry picker up front and working with engine/trans/t-case. Just an option I thought I would pass along. Works for me :) Oh yeah, it picks up my ATV too

I've considered the same thing. I had a HF coupon, $69 but way too big, I'm already out of room in my little garage...

Didnt I tell you that if you want something made out of metal, let me know? People scrap brand new stuff! Possibly stolen, but there's nothing i can do about that...

I have a transmission jack in my garage. Send you pics when i get home buddy!

My transmission jack you have to have a lift for. That is the style i have here at the shop. At its lowest setting it is about 3 feet off the ground. So unless you have a lift in your new shop / house my style will not work for you and then i would get a regular jack with the option to put a trans holder on it.

Mine too, but i modified the trans holder to fit on my 2.5 ton jack.

But @GLTHFJ60 , I dont use it as much as you would, so its yours if you want it. Cheap.
