Sure. I don't. Got it off a rolling frame. I just wanted the frame. You can try them and if they sag too much I'll give you your money back.

Sounds good! What do you want for them and when can I pick them up?

"Hi everyone, first off thanks for all the info you guys provide. I've been interested in fj's for years and reading the forums off and on.

I'm now finally in the position to purchase my first landcrusier!!

I've been searching craigslist for weeks and finding its not as easy to find cruisers on the east coast as it seems it is to find them on the west coast, so I figured this would be the place to come.

I'm looking for a 76 or newer, mostly stock, minimal rust of course, and one that runs good as my occupation in residential construction doesn't translate too well to fixing mechanical issues. I used to have a jeep I did a lot of work on, so I'm comfortable with most anything short of engine work. Definitely want a hardtop.

This would mainly be a weekend driver to drive around town, and either to the beach or mountains, maybe some off roading occasionally.

I did find this one on CL today is anyone has any opinions.

Please let me know if anyone has anything available in NC or surrounding states.

Thanks,

Jeremy"

Did you see the one posted earlier by Meatball down East? Older, but looks solid at first glance. 9k though.

Need pics of body. But when he states that he bought it to restore it , it most likely has body issues.

I'd like to be around 5 or 6 but I know that's probably a longshot. 8 or 9 is probably my max right now.

The 9k one in Atlantic beach looks pretty good from the pics. He sent me a few extras through text. I just worry about the salt taking a toll on it near the coast. A little hard for me to gauge what's a 9k FJ not having any experience with them besides what I can tell from pics of what's listed for sale.

I'm not in a rush, so I can be patient to find the right one. Keep me in mind if anyone comes across one.

Dude I'm right down the street from the one in Atlantic beach. I've talked to the guy several times. I can take good photos and drive it for u if needed. Have it checked out of needed. U can get it for less hen 9k. :) it's not a bad looking rig. Exhaust needs a fixing

Your friendly neighborhood NY'er here... I have my LC hybrid rear axle listed for sale in the classifieds, and Johnny just mentioned to me that transport down to NC may be possible in March if anyone is interested. I am also somewhat flexible on price, unless the buyer is Adam :hillbilly:

Also good for someone with a minitruck who is looking to upgrade their differential strength. You can always cut off the link brackets and weld on spring perches.

Man that would be great if it's not too much trouble. Would save me a day of driving.

I was hoping to stick with one with a 2f engine and a 4 speed, but a good running F would be fine. Might be worth the trade off since it has disk brakes and power steering, and some other things already taken care of on it??

Wish I had the money for this one

Just curious, would you be interested in a FJ45 full floater in partial trade? I have a Monte Carlo disc brake kit and a newly rebuilt 4.11 third w/ Aussie I would put in it.
