FJ40 body

1974 model FJ40 body for sale. Tub is in good condition, some rust, no rot. The rear fenders have been comp cut and there are neatly cut holes in the wheel wells for shocks to stick through (easily patched). The tub is stripped bare. Also have front fenders, windshield frame, and other misc parts to be included. I have the chassis also, which is in near perfect condition that can be included. The axles and leaf springs are still on the chassis.

I'll take $700 for everything, or $400 for the body. Someone needs a project!

if we were not about ready to go buy a Yukon XL for the family ride

Eric - I recently picked up a XL for the boys - it's been great - can throw tons of stuff back there, strollers, groceries, etc! Very smooth to drive and actually gets a fair amt better gas mileage than the FJC!

60 series bull bar

I have one that I am going to be removing from my 62 in the next couple weeks. Its in near perfect shape with a couple small surface scratches but nothing thru the powdercoat. I would like to sell it locally for around 650 because I dont have the time or energy to ship it.

Hit me up on the email if interested.

Jim, sure you don't mean 79+? So that you get the larger pattern knuckle and shorter (more standard) shorter birf? Rear discs started what year??? Maybe you have another reason I'm not thinking about, I just wanted to make sure you weren't thinking wrong on the years there. I have a '78, so I had to get mini knuckles, and grind the housing for Longs, etc...

Ramon, you are correct. I need to do some additional research on the project overall. Greg, I'll ping you off line on the case.

Sorry brother. I know i got one here, but blew out my back again. 3 Herniated disks thanks to Uncle Sam. Will go out and get it and ship it this weekend. Will send you pics first though. Will try tomorrow to get out there for the pics. If you need it sooner i can try and get it out in the next couple days.

Sorry again, but some of these drugs were real good. :grinpimp::grinpimp:

Damn Darin, sorry to hear that. Don't push your recovery on my account! I probably just need it in 2-3 weeks time, but just wanted to leave time to find one elsewhere if you didn't find one after all. Here's to a speedy recovery - surprised you haven't had any nonsensical posts in the last few ....

Long story, but I need the 4wd shifter housing for a 4spd case. You know, it bolts to the nose cone and houses the shift fork for front ds engagement. All my innards are good - just need the housing.

Check this one.. Not too sure of the year it came off of, but put it beside my 4 speed i put in my 45 and the holes and all were the right size.

Need to know the year / month of the case you have. There is supposed to be a difference. I have about 3 more here. I think this is the early model 4 speed / late model 3 speed one in the pic.

Free: FZJ80 Running boards and hardware.

I am moving and I do not want to take these with me. I have a pair of running boards off my 1996 FZJ80. They are in good shape, no rust. The DS has a slight dent in the middle of it, but no too bad. Also have all of the hardware, including the pieces that attach to the front flare and the stupid rubber flare extensions that go on the rear doors.

These are all free! Come and get it! No shipping. If no takers, then they will go to the dump!

Located in Durham, NC.

Thanks,
Robert
