Any particular tire shops around that you would recommend? Made the rounds today of the usual suspects (Merchants, NTB, etc) getting some prices together.

Misc FJ40 parts
I've got some misc FJ40 parts I need to get rid of. I've got 2 good windshield frames, a couple of decent early rear hatches, some early tool box lids, some early front door parts, a fender apron or two, 3-speed t-case, etc. There are lots of little parts scattered around too that would be included. I would like to sell everything together if someone is interested. $100 obo for everything, or trade for a decent FJ40 hood.

front bumper wanted
ok guys. so I finally converted a jeeper friend of mine and he just purchased a nice 93 FZJ80 (I'll get him to say hello soon). The addiction has hold already and he is looking for a new front bumper. He's looking for an ARB primarily however a slee shortbus would work too as I would trade him. We're watching the classifieds but if anyone comes across one just shoot me a PM. thanks

It's a rear crossmember support for a V8 in a 40. What you want for it? I don't have an immediate need for it, but I could give you $50 for it plus shipping. I might need one next spring.

Well seeing as to how I was hooked up by Alex. The least I can do is pay it forward.
I have 4 16 inch rims with tires that I cant use. I got them off of alex and they are currently on the 40 now but the front ones hit my cross over steering arm. luckily I loosened the nuts and was able to place the cruiser in storage. they served there purpose but I guess I am going to have to get some that fit correctly.
If anybody knows where I can get some cheap ones let me know.
Either way if someone wants or needs the ones I have just let me know.

he would also take a factory front bumper if anyone has one laying around. It has a home made one on there now and he would like to replace it. thanks guys.

I have no clue what year transfer case I have.
If your asking what year I need, well I dont know either .
I was under the assumption that they were all the same.
I am ordreing a twin shift kit from AA and they said that I would still have to replace the vacuum actuated nose part to a manual type.
Darren any info you can throw my way would be greatly appreciated.

I got a few nose cones here if you want to come by this way.

Sorry for the confusion. It is not the nose cone but the shifter that attaches on the side of the nose cone. Mine has a vacuum shifter. I need a stick shift type.
