Saw this Friday on the way to Georgetown S.C. It is a 1974, ower has had it for about 6 months, asking $5500.00. It is just west of Albemarle on Hwy 52. I just stopped to look and take pictures. Don't know the guy or the 40. It might be something that has already been put on this site.

I've seen and test driven this one. See my posts in this thread from 5/8 & 5/9. I low balled him and he didn't counter. Looks like he's come down in price, but still too high based on what I saw/remember.

I thought I had seen that one before.

My bad. Didn't go back far enough in this thread to see it. Well at least you know the asking price has dropped.

Ramon, that is all you right there.

I am debating this Barry, vs. LPG - which I had made my mind up I was going to do next.

I like that LPG keeps it all mechanical. But for approximately the same investment for LPG, I could do this EFI "kit" and rework the head at the same time.

I'm going to send a PM.

if so i got your extra exhaust flange..............but you know ya want LPG :D

and on the classified note: anyone got any hood latches or know a cheap source. OEM not important so might be a job for the pick n pull.

What model jason?

its a 3FE exhaust flange.... the matching one to tommy's manifold :D

I also have a 2F exhaust flange, triangular bolt pattern. 77 i believe.

We'll talk tonight, but it looks like I would have to swap out domed pistons to the '81 + flat top pistons, which is a deal breaker for me. Unless someone knows otherwise - I'm gonna' pass.

I am really interested in the EFI for my 87 fj60.

So if Ramon does not want it i will step up to the plate. Need to start learning about this before school anyway.

Snag it up Darin, that is a good price as advertised. I think I am going to stick to my original LPG plan. 2F's a forklift motor too, afterall. :)

I am going LPG on the hooptie when i get started back on it. Just too many projects right now and going to school next year. After this school then i should be good for alot of things being redone. IE rebuilding trucks other than they were built, for other people. :hillbilly::hillbilly::hillbilly:

Same here... I've been on that one for a long time. I know the owner. He doesn't need money, so it will sit until he gets 5k for it. Needs a good bit of work, but a very nice platform. I just can't justify that much cash for it...

custom one off hood retention system for a 72/4/6/7/9 FJ55 :D

J,

I've got some from my project 40 that I was going to replace with new ones, if you want em...
