FJ40 front disc brake axle for sale. This axle is complete, I just removed it from the Cruiser yesterday. The axle is from a '70 FJ40 but has been converted to disc brakes with mini truck parts, so it has the larger birfs and knuckles. It is complete and ready to install in your drum brake FJ40.

The axle was on a sprung-over FJ40 but still has the factory perches, so it can be used with springs on top or under the axle.

Since my daughter is now going to App, I drive through Boone with some regularity and for months now have been driving by a nice orange-ish FJ40 at High Country 4x4 right there at 421 and 105.

Asked Reggie for a price and he said $23K. Apparently it's headed down to Alabama after the new year 'cause the owner is setting up a shop down there. Anyone know whose this is?

Looks nice but there is rust bubbling through on the front fenders. Interior looks great.

Not sure, but that's one hot 40! ...but for 23k it should be perfect without the rust bubbling thru.

WTB: FJ40 hard top

A friend needs a hard top for his FJ40. Looking for one in good condition. It doesn't have to be perfect, but not rotten.

Now that i've gone rag-top, my hrad top is not being used anymore. Fiberglass top and raingutter is in great shape (no headliner though) and the DS and PS side panels are complete with glass installed painted in yellow. I think I have all the supports and such. I dropped you a PM, and if he is interested, Ill check to make sure I have all the parts and take pictures

It's in Havelock right now, but I can cart it up to Durham next time I visit the

Reguarding the red FJ 40 for sale in boone at the the 4x4 place
I am from boone and stopped by to ask the price this summer and the price was 18,000.
and the engine compartment is a different color, not red. Supposely it is from hawaii.
Dont know who owns it but would love to know, got alot of extras on it.

4Runner Clinometer/Altimeter gauge pod. Used, works fine, has pigtail to wire into interior light circuit. Housing currently painted w/ a vinyl/plastic baby-poop color, will also include a can of brown vinyl/plastic paint. $40. Clinometer pod.

PIAA 520 driving lights w/ white plastic covers and bling-a-lation chrome covers. Chromed steel housing, optics-free lens. They work perfectly and are like new (no flaws), I replaced them in favor of fogs. They have approx. 6" or more of wiring to connect up to your harness (harness not included). $75. PIAA 520, back of PIAA's, front of PIAA's.

1971 FJ40 (can be found on Craigslist)
Paki top for it (7window Khaki Color with bows...still in box never used)
And have yet to make up my mind but probably my rebuilt 4bt and NV4500 (can't decide...I still hope that it can go something in the future)
