OK, I'll bite. How much did that cost?

I think it varies based on rust levels (i.e. amout of prep work required) and the size of the vehicle, but my job was $3,250.

I got quotes from a couple mobile sandblasters for a similar job for a different vehicle I was considering that had more surface rust, and they quoted $1,200 for just the rust removal and wanted me to have a lift for them in my suburban home with an HOA. If I bought the other vehicle, I would have probably taken that to Merritt. They also cleaned the engine bay and appeared to be more thorough about getting in the nooks and crannies.

That actually seems somewhat reasonable in 2025. Crazy, but reality.

Looking to see if anyone has a photo man upgrade kit lying around that they have never installed or a OEM alternator for sale. I have a dual battery system with accessories so OEM will work but would like to upsize to the 130/150 if possible as well.

I don't have a Photoman kit but there is a Jaguar alt from Rockauto that can be modified to fit and provides 140A. @SeanLX

4x8 sheet of expanded aluminum. There was a 4 inch by 48 inch piece removed, but the remainder could still be used to floor a roof rack or something similar.
