That is very true I'll only be parting the ones that have no life left like ones with out front ends or bent in half frames

Well I kinda tried yesterday, but when he started looking up individual part prices on car-part.com and totaling the prices out that way I knew it was probably gonna be priced too high.

Man I had this guys contact a while back. for those that went to the meet up at mac's Speed shop the guy there that was in the "loaner" 60 knows him pretty well and game me his number and told me to feel free to name drop. Sadly kids distract me way too much and I just never followed up. Been by there several times and was always told what Stefan came up with as well. Sure hope some of these can be rebuilt and go to good homes. I really need to check this thread more.Maybe some cruiser enthusiast should buy them all up

been following those guys on Northwest overland for a while.
That drivetrain combo is IMHO the best overland combo I've ever seen. That 2.8 is one of the smoothest diesel motors ever. Weighs just 475lbs and puts out almost 400 ft/lbs stock. And I dont really need to explain an Allison and atlas combo.
every time I see it I think.... Hell I don't need to buy another house over here I'll just live in that.
if it doesn't sell by the overland rally next month it will be there, and I'll send you guys pics of me drooling all over it.
In the midst of installing my soft top and I'm missing one part. Wanted: this thingy. But the one for the other side. It's where the rear bow mounts to the seat bracket. In a factory configuration these parts would be mounted to the body. Need a matching set for the other side.
Would anyone happen to know anyone that is selling a Diesel engine that would be a good match for my FJ60?
