The doors are the '74 and earlier style. they just need to be cleaned up and painted. Could be great for half doors...

Long time lurker in Charlotte, but just registered to see if you guys can help with a little background on this FJ40 linked above. I checked it out in person a few days ago and was impressed but I know you guys will know the real history. Can anyone share any details that you know of on this?

I would talk to the current owner Ed Lowe and his son Will. He is a stand up guy and should be able to give you all the info you need.

1974 FJ40 in Winterville, NC For Sale - $9,500
Not mine. Never laid eyes on it. Just came across it and although somewhat pricey, it looks like it could be pretty nice from the photos on Craigslist. Suspect one the guys looking at the Ron Shue FJ40 might find this more budget friendly.

I have the opportunity to bring this in, in a few weeks. Don't have the funds to do it myself right now to try and sell it though. If I don't buy it, it will more than likely come thru another well known importer and price will be in the 34K range. If someone wants it for $25K I could probably do it pretty quick but it would be a short timeline.
I'm not going to throw it on the main board becuase nobody knows me there but if anyone here is interested let me know ASAP. Kind of a really short timeline I know but it came up quick. I already told the seller I couldn't really pull it right now but thought afterwards that some of my ONSC buds might be interested. I was hoping to pull out some cash and bring it in myself but with flight school I just don't have the time to activly try to sell it and tie up my funds in it.
These are not my pictures and if I find out the vehicle is sold to the other buyer soon I will need to remove them and deltete this post out of respect to the other seller.
Just shoot me a PM and I'll get back to you with more info. Basically a 10 out of 10 fully restored vehicle. Has Stock AC.
