I decided I want a 98-04 Tacoma ext or dbl cab or a 99-02 4runner must be 4x4, 3.4 v6, and automatic. Prefer under 150k miles and $7k or less. Will consider up to 180k miles but has to be really clean and $ must be right.
Prefer silver, grey, black, green or blue. No red.
Between flaky sellers and other issues (no TB records, no english, no response, rust, etc) I can't seem to put my hands on the right one for the right $.
Let me know if you see or know of something over your holiday travel.

Lets talk about this bike. Mtn one. I am about 5.9 on a good day.
Can the front forks be easily changed out to some good shock ones ? that is what i would like. Everything on it work like it should ? Anything really need to be changed out prior to just riding it for some time. IE does stuff need to be gone thru like the head or anything ?
Sorry I missed this Darin.
Forks could be swapped out for suspension but that does lead to a value point issue. The older forks without disc brakes are out there but harder to find or old stock. I will make you a deal on the bike without the hydraulic brakes if you wanted to persue that.
being completely honest though i would suggest you look at modern rides with the fork already on it from a price point. I saw some decent mid level rides at Sports Authority of all places. K2 , used to be noleen, and Pro-flex before that. Front suspension fork, disc brakes and decent components on sale for 400.
Id love to sell mine but I am afraid if you want to add the fork then it would get to 400 pretty fast and while all parts are pretty new and operate fine, they are 95 vintage and the bike tech has come a long way.
let me know what you are thinking. the only "issue" is I put a 8 spd shifter on the 7 spd system so there is a bit of a ghost shift that im perfectly used to. I do have 7 spd shifters if you wanted to go that way intstead and new brakes for the fork if you didnt want the hydraulics.
