I am looking for a used trailer to haul my 62 that is heavy duty enough to haul equipment too. Needs to be at least a 10K capacity. I can find brand new ones for just over $2k so I would appreciate any leads on something closer to the $1k mark.

I have a mid-nineties vintage 12k 19' dovetail I'd be willing to consider on trade for a newish 7k trailer. The one I have has wood planks and 2 brake axles. The only reason I'd be looking was for a metal floor and a bit lighter (not that the Duramax minds the extra weight, it's just overkill).

Long story short, I'd trade if you found something that fit the bill in your price range.

By vintage do you mean relic?:D I'll keep yer offer in mind while im looking around. Possibly, if you find what you are looking for let me know what your trailer would cost.

It's in good mechanical shape. Boards need a bit of TLC. Tires are almost all new. Could use a coat of paint, but it's not in bad shape overall. You saw it in URE that one trip, but I doubt you payed much attention to it. I'm honestly pretty happy with it, and don't really feel compelled to do much searching, but thought I'd throw it out there because it's overkill for me. I'd be trading size / functionality for features that I want (metal floor).

That looks nicer than half the crap on craigslist. I'll let you know what I find.

If you actually are interested, I found the photos I took of it when I purchased back in 03/08. Here's a link: Picasa Web Albums - noneyabizness - Trailer

As you can see from the pic of the serial tag, it was manufactured in 7/99 by Trailers Plus in New Bern NC.

OEM steel wheel for 40 Series

I am looking for a stock steel wheel for and 40 series Cruiser. I am located in Greensboro. I have a JDM 1979 BJ41 with drum brakes all around. It came with 4 15 inch split rims, but no spare. Not looking for a split rim, just a 15 inch stock steel wheel. Thanks, Chris

Chris, welcome. Sounds like a nice ride. You the red one or dune beige? Or is there another?
I've spied two diesels around greensboro in the last month. red one all decked out w/ bumpers and a rack and a incognito beige one with a diesel badge and some rust :D

someone may chime in with a wheel for you but if not check out stockton wheels for a replica since its not going to be an exact match to the set

jfz80,
Thanks for the welcome. It is a different one. It is stock, mustard yellow with a factory soft top. It is all original with no rust, 97K kilometers. I am exploring the possiblities of importing and selling diesel 40s, 60s and 70s. I just receive this one two weeks ago and am sorting it out and will be putting it on the market once I get the EDIC system repaired.

4 Michelin LTX M/S 275/70 R16 Tires Like New - Charlotte, NC

Probably a long shot but looking to sell set of 4 Michelin LTX M/S 275/70 R16 with only 3500 miles on them - still have the bar code stickers on them.

Bought my LC in August and PO had just put these tires on so only a few months and 3500 miles on them. I'm in no hurry but looking to go bigger if/when I can get some money for these in a local sale only.

These go for ~$700 new so I'd sell for no less than $475 which seems fair for both sides. If you're interested, I'm in Charlotte and could work with you to time my new tire purchase/install and meet at same time to transfer these to you.

Thanks,
John

Not that you can tell much from the pic, but those are the tires :)

Thanks,

These are the same ones that Brad (diggity) and I have used. I am very pleased with my purchase and they make good replacements for the cracked black plastic ones that came on the older 8274s.

Gabe - I look forward to seeing yours soon. Let me know when I should stop by.

I just fgave a tire and wheel to Jay, the Upstate Cruisers president, He just wanted the tire, so he should get rid of the wheel. He lives in Fletcher, may or may not be far from you.

Ultimate Air cylinder and mount

Just listed this in the main classifieds, thanks, Merle

Ultimate Air cylinder
I have a never used Ultimate Air LT series 15lb CO2 bottle and mount. It has been sitting in the garage for some time. Just too large to mount it where I want in the truck so I am going to get a 10lb cylinder instead.

On UA's site the 10lb cylinder sells for 139.95 and the mount for 45.90 for a total of 185.85. I can not find a 15lb cylinder from them for sale so not sure of the price difference.

Anyway, how about 175 shipped.

Thanks!
