When I first saw this, I thought it was 187500. Yours is still a baby 😂

Whats the significance of 87500?
Ha, nothing I suppose other than it's a 2008. I think we've had it exactly four years now.

Posted these over in the "What have you done this week?" thread as well, but figured I would share them here too since this thread is all about the pics. Deleted most of the chrome on my '09 and turned it into the rare "Black Edition" lol. I'm dgging it though.

Turned out really sharp! Did you paint, wrap, or dip?

Nice! Tell me about the door handles, and do you think it will Hold up on there?

Not sure how many cans they used, but I think the shop ordered 10 cans total with some left over - they gave me a 1 year warranty in case anything needs touching up or redone. Supposed to get a good 3 years out of it if taken care of. The shop said car washes are fine after a week but to stay away from the dip with a pressure washer as it could peel.

They removed the grill to paint it, but all the other parts were just left on and sprayed in place - minus a few pieces of the roof rail trim. The guy said that was the trickiest part of the job but it turned out good as far as I can tell. Wish I could have snapped a few more pics of it in the shop but I didn't have a respirator on and the fumes were pretty strong. The stuff smells just like automotive paint when it's being applied.

That came out really nice! I like that license plate too! We've got some common interests @TWillz! I've got a black '13 LX & I hate chrome (it was something I had to come to terms with when buying the car, it was worth it).

Man, this rims/tire combo looks surprisingly good! I've got a '10 in the same color with similar de-chrome, and I've been mulling my rim/tire selection for awhile. I've got 5 '13 LX570 rims in my garage that may be destined for a gloss black powder coat, and I'm in love with OZ Rally Raid 18s in black.

But now you've got me thinking about PC'ing or dipping my stock '10 rims...

Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

Thanks! I really went back and forth on the wheels. The original plan was to just go black on everything including lugs and center cap logos, then almost at the last minute decided to keep just that little bit of chrome to break it up. I'm pretty happy with the way they came out, and I could always just get black lug nuts and hit that little emblem with some spray if I ever feel like changing them.
One thing that made it tough - you just don't really see many (or at least I haven't) of those original 10-spoke rims from the 08-11 year range that are painted black, or any color besides the stock silver or chrome for that matter. I've seen plenty of the '13 and up style painted black and even the Tundra wheels some guys are running, and they all look really good so I figured I'd just give it a try!
