Cool. Thanks! If places only sell LC bumpers, like CBI from what I have seen so far on the website, will it fit LX?
The front of the LX is slightly different. I think Dissent is now taking orders for a future run of a bunch of LX570 specific front bumpers The LX headlights, bumper cover, and front bumper cover to fender join angle are all different. So the answer is for most bumpers no*.

*Modification of some sort is required. Many have done it.

There are now a few fabs that have a LX compatible rear - Slee, Dissent, Trail Tailor come to mind, there may be more at this point.

Awesome. Thanks!

I’d say it is pretty close. That is the Palisades Glacier in the background.

how was your trip? Where did you end up camping?
It was a really good trip. I ran into a group of 8 100 series at the trailhead and followed them until just before entering the flat. They stopped because several of them had gas boiling out of their fuel tanks. I then went and checked out Funnel Lake before coming back down and camping. We camped at a really nice site just before the cattle crossing guard that is right before getting into the Baker Creek area.

Hey all I am hoping this goes out to the entire thread. Wondering if anyone is towing a ATC Toy Hauler with their LX 570?

Just picked up my '14 LX570. It just feels like an amazing truck. I'm pretty stoked on it. I see the finished product in my head, and I can't wait to get started. I've already seen so many cool pictures and seems like a cool community here. I'm thinking new tires and roof rack are the first upgrades. This is my DD. Curious, if some of you could do it again, what would you do differently and what would you have done sooner or later?

congrats and welcome! Get yourself a compressor and some ATs and get out there!

@Kuiu570 Congratulations and welcome to the 200 forum. For a daily driver? Not sure I'd do anything except make sure the maintenance is up to date including verifying that the tires and brakes are good. The rest of the stuff everyone adds is either for offroad use or "off road" aesthetics. Most of the aftermarket upgrades take away from the day to day usability of the vehicle in some way - tires get louder and the ride stiffer, wind noise from racks, etc. Almost everything has a trade off, and the Toyota team did a good job of balancing trade offs with stock choices.

Totally understand where you're coming from. I had an FJ that was modded, and that was my daily driver as well. I sold that bc I've got 4 kids and not being able to take the whole family out in the mountains was a bummer. I'm prepared to lose that Lexus feel and get it ready for some trips.

Thank you! Any compressor you'd recommend over another?

The ARB dual is the top of the foodchain and in my opinion worth the premium. However something like a Viair 400p will give you most of the performance at a lower price point.

I really prefer something with a 100% duty cycle, like many of the Viair models or the ARB Twin. This way when you're with a group you can help others get their tires filled if they have a slow compressor or don't have one at all. These models also tend to run cooler which is great; it's no fun airing up and then having to wait 10 minutes or more for the compressor to cool enough that you can pack it back up (assuming you're not running onboard air).

I have a Viair 450p which I think is great but there are lots of good options out there. A good inflator with a pressure gauge (I would prefer digital) is also a great thing for convenience and speed.

I really appreciate that feed back! That's awesome. If I may, do you have your compressor mounted in your vehicle somewhere, or just something you pack when heading out?

With a morr-flate and a big smitty-bilt, I find I am done quicker than most, including ARB Twins - and including unpacking/repacking. This on a 35" tire from 12 PSI to 35. Never had a duty cycle issue.
