Not sure if this expression translates for you, David, but here in the U.S. we would say "I was just yanking your chain..." Or, in this case, "...your recovery strap..."

Not to my recollection.
Trends I noticed this year....
1. Military trailers everywhere, double as many this year as last and at least 3 with tents on top.
2. Lots of FJ Cruisers
3. More 40's
4. Fewer 60/62's
That would be me. I actually ended up going out on sunday, and will have closer to 3 hours of footage to cut down. I have some freelance work to finish up in the next day or two, then I will start cutting it down.
The full rez DVD's will be available to those who want them, I will just need a couple bucks (literally) to cover costs of the DVD's and mailing. I will post it up on youtube as well under rabidfj40. There are a few older videos on there now. I will let Sporin and YT know when it is done. I have to figure out what it will cost to make and mail them, but I would guess it is only a few bucks.

Actually, no. Technically it is a donation. I do not have the rights to the music, so I can't sell them. I am not trying to make dime 1, just not making 400 DVD's for people out of pocket.
I actually got a letter from the record company who owned the rights to the music from the 06 fall wheel video, they saw it on youtube, and could have pulled it, but said if I allow them to advertise on that page, they would OK it. Guess people are watching.

BTW- anyone have any footage of the runs I did not go out on? I can cut it into this stuff. I wish I could have brought another shooter, as The video will not be really representative of all the rigs there. My other shooter bailed to go to a wedding.

rabid it may be of no interest but if you want to use some of my stills to edit in there in any way you're more than welcome.. i was the one out in F&F on sunday taking pics with Randy.. and i got some nice pics of those crazy north country cruiser guys you filmed!! 
Sweet I have some footage of the stock run in a couple decent areas and one of John working the Pumpkin. I don't know how to edit it but I think the wife would be able to burn it to a dvd if we could send it to you. Let me know.
