Club Members,

We are drawing close to the time when we will need to nominate the newest Horsetooth 4 Wheelers Officers.

The TLCA just finished their nominations on last night's BODreps call.

I thought it would be good if we synchronized our schedules to coincide with theirs.

Therefore, I am opening up this thread for nominations. We will finalize nominations at the December meeting and hold elections at the January meeting.

We need nominations for:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Land Use
  • TLCA Rep
  • Event Coordinator
  • IT

Did I miss any?

Well, I definitely appreciate this nomination, but I don't think it is a good idea for me...

With Cash on the scene and my present lack of employment, I am scaling back my "extracurricular activity". I also stepped down from the organizing committee of the annual 10k open water swim fund-raiser. These are two things I love very much, but I am needed more at home right now.

I also think we would do well to get a new VP into the club. I would nominate Frank for land use officer, but he has shouldered a lot of the club's duties. He was on the verge of burnout when HT4Wheelers get re-started.

Lets get some new blood involved. When we talked about starting this club, it appeared that there was a lot of interest and new blood in N Co/S Wyo. Lets get these people on the board.

Not sure how Damon is feeling, I'll let him chime in here...

Well placed priorities sir! I wish I could commit the time as I totally believe in the club. New blood is the key to success as is participation from all members.

being poor sux.... we went from a decent living of just over 100K a year, to 25K after the big move... sorry I havent been able to do much of anything... but I am glad to see the club is finally complete........

I am still waiting for a med tech position to open up where I work..... until then I am making beans for income.... my wife finally got a position with a company so we are going to be doing pretty good and then a heck of a lot better after I get a position in the lab........ But I will have the means to make it down from now on.... well after the first of the year...

As for a position... I'd like to work with James on getting WY settled in... if James is still interested.... as for club historian...... if you still want me..... but I would like to get a real club webpage going.....

can't do tlca since i'm already a delegate for rising sun. i can only represent one club.

also, for secretary, don't know if i'll be able to make a lot of meetings. new job is considerably less money, so i may take on a parttime night job to make up for it. :frown:
 
Alright gang - we need to get on this if the club is going to move forward.

I don't think it is fair to nominate Frank for President unless he has a solid crew of officers to do some of the heavy lifting. When I first met Frank he was burnt out form trying to do it all himself and was ready to let the club go.

The people being nominated aren't replying here. Nor is anyone showing up at meetings.

We also need to add CO State Association Rep to the list of officers.

Let get the new crew in here!
 
i would like to see club get biger if all jobs work right we will and could have fun :bounce: i would like to be priz if we had all jobs filled :bounce2: i would like to thank paul and noninate hem for land use and yes i will help :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:
