Hey, everybody. I am off work 12/23 through 1/1, and my headlight project is complete, so I wondered if anyone might be interested in an unscheduled trail ride on a non-holiday date. Post up availability and trail suggestions if you are!

Here’s a suggestion for some wheeling around Canon City. Start at Red Canyon Park and drive the Seep Springs area the opposite direction that we normally do. Exit to US 50 and we will be close to the Royal Gorge. I have an annual pass for four entrees and I, personally, would like to see the Christmas lights at the Royal Gorge. They look to be quite impressive according to the media that I have seen.

Scratch going to the Royal Gorge. They have a hard close at 4 o’clock and then prepare for letting cars in at 5:30 to drive across the bridge and see the lights. It cost $45 per car to drive across the bridge. They kick everybody out at 4 o’clock and so we would not be able to walk across the bridge and see the lights. Seep Springs is still a good option. I’m sure there are other good suggestions as well.

I'm interested. We can go on a snow run or go to a lower elevation and do something like Texas creek.

Busy on the 26th, in for the 29th.

I'll type slowly, I can only go on a Lexus trip on the 29th of December 2023. Just snarcing Dave.

If you would bring the hanger queen out on on the trails during Christmas Tree patrol you could have put over 100 miles a day on the rig. We would make sure that you got the truck back in the hanger before it got dark and the spooks came out.

Dave, I think your idea of going to the Gulches is an excellent idea and there should be plenty of snow there and plenty of roads to explore. I support it.

I like that idea. Let's go.
