I have seen these covers on a lot of 100s in the middle east. Does it have a Toyota part # by any chance? Thinking of finding one when I'm out there...

If it were all black I might consider one, would keep the uv's off the spare. But I doubt it would fit a 35.

Fwiw, I really like the tail lamp design. I've been wanting to delete my inner tail lamps (on the tail gate).

I'd take the diesel and 5 speed too as long as we're at it. :)

Have people done that kind of mod in the past?

It'll cost several thousand. You still want it?

I know it. Thinking of a body shop friend....drop off gate to him, fill in tail lamp holes. Repaint gate. Put back on truck

Maybe it will grow on me, but I still like the 'Dilbert' look of the 100 best. Then again, I didn't like the current gen 4R at first and now I really like it.

I would forego the tailgate for barn doors. Why? Because with an offset tire carrier, I could access the trunk with just one step (through the small door). `

Love the ambulance doors. Bumper shops could size the swings to match. Gladly trade that for the gate we have. Oh, to be able to get in with a single action.

Are you after oem lift gates from a foreign spec 100? I'm going to be importing an fzj80 in a few years and in the mean time buying tonnes of new and used parts from dealers and yards so I can look for gates or barn doors and give you a quote if you're interested. Middle east prices I've found are a hell of a lot cheaper than online stuff
