My 2014 200 has a bad cooling fan in the HD radio/Nav system. It is making a loud binding noise.
I am looking to purchase the fan to replace.

Does anyone know if the fan is attached to the unit itself (possibly having to replace the whole radio/navi unit)
Or can you just purchase the fan?

Who makes the OEM unit for Toyota?

I don't know the answer to any of your questions, so I'm pretty much useless on those. However, I do know that it's easy to get pretty much any size/cfm/voltage replacement fan. So if you end up being able to replace just the fan, you can get a replacement from someplace like Amazon just by knowing those 3 parameters (which should be on the fan label). The only challenging thing may be to get one as quiet as the original. All that being said, you may find something simple, like a piece of something stuck in the fan blades, and that vacuuming will fix it. I'm sure you won't want to replace the whole unit----$$$$$$$$.

UPDATE
Because I have warranty. I took it to the dealership. They say it's the CD/DVD player.

I'm not convinced, but they ordered a new one today and will put it in next week.

Anyone know if these units have cooling fans. I'm trying to find a photo of the back of the radio/navi unit or a photo of the unit out of the dash.

I've had mine out multiple times to fix rattles, it's actually quite easy to remove. I don't recall seeing a fan on either the display unit or the cd player. Both have solid aluminum housings, I believe there's some venting on the cd player but no fan.

I can be removed in less than 5 minutes, pop off the top speaker grille, remove both a/c vents (they just pop out, held in with clips), both padded covers on the silver painted side trim pieces (again just pop out), one screw holds the silver side pieces on, 4 10mm bolts for display unit, I think 2 for cd player. Most of it is just pressure clips.

If you are waiting at the dealer, they should show you the part. I don't see why that would be a big deal. I work at a Toyota dealership.

They just called and wanted this number off the bottom of the unit.
Any idea? He said he needed "code".
Are these units specific to each cruiser?

Maybe it's the cd/dvd motor? In that case, replacing it will fix it.

Dealership replaced the CD/DVD player. Fixed the noise. They covered it under warranty. hDD spinning I believe was the problem.
