Hi All,

My driver's side speaker is blown.

I have some infinity shallow dept 4ohm speakers (Infinity 6022si) from another project and want to replace only the driver's side.

During my forum search, I have seen reference to the front door speakers (the main big ones) being 4 ohm and 2 ohm.:bang:

Can anyone shed light on which resistance is applicable?

Vehicle is 2004 LC.

thanks in advance!

My 03 with JBL is 2ohm for all speakers except the subwoofer. Keep in mind, there's one pair of wires going to each door, and then spliced to the tweeter in there with the crossover being soldered between the lead and the tweeter terminal.

Not to be pedantic, but you're really more interested in the impedance than just the resistance, as impedance is a measure of resistance at frequency (it varies over the frequency response of the driver).
