Interesting. Would love to hear a real review from a member here.

and a bunch of sound deadener for the doors

I’m really wanting to sound deaden the s*** out of my GX. Doors, rear and floor are high priorities. I also would like to do the roof but I’m a bit leery to take off the headliner.

I already did the rear floor, rear door and rear quarter panels. I'll leave the roof alone.

Honestly, taking the headliner down is not that big of a deal, just very time consuming. I had never done it before and the sunroof was stuck open on my son's 470. I just started at the front and worked my way back removing clips, screws and the side plastics until it came down. It looked like a bomb went off in the truck because I had pieces everywhere but it all went back together once I had the sunroof fixed with no "optional" pieces. :) It took me all day to remove the headliner / sunroof cassette, fix the issue and put the sunroof back in. I finished re-installing the interior plastics and headliner the next day.

Can't find a price or installation for the GX's.
I'm guessing, since they're offering $200.00 off, the price is probably close to $2,00.00 for everything.

I too would like to know if anyone has before I go ahead with it. I don't want to be the 2k guinea pig lol.

The link no longer works. Doubt the product is available anymore.

I did my own, mostly based off the speaker thread on CL. Adding sound deadening to the doors made a huge difference. That coupled with new speakers brings the sound up from "my half-deaf wife complains how crappy it is" to as good or better than our other car's stock systems.

I think the speakers cost me about $500 and the other parts another $150. I bought way too much sound deadening material but I'll use some when I replace the third row with a platform and drawer system.

the big miss with this system is the inability to accept a line level signal. man, can ANYONE design a good system anymore? the weakest link is now the music source and how it connects to the stereo. such a simple solution....that used to be a cornerstone of even $100 head units. i vote for going forward to the past. much better than going back to the future. lol
