One failure is one to many.
I’m sure a lot of folks simply use the ball on the rear hitch as a recovery point which is just a tad dangerous.![]()
I have the OEM hooks, left and right hand, on Purebred.
They have served me well. Once I got stuck in deep mud; a pickup truck had to pull me hard (something that required a few tries) and they held up. A 70 Series is a heavy vehicle.
As is usually the case with OEM parts, they are beefier than they look. However, they do protrude, as the picture shows.
