Anyone have a way to look it up? Mind sharing how you look it up?

The 69+ uses the 48531-69055 which supercedes to the 48531-69059 which is still available. I'm curious what the original # from 66 would have been.

Kurt,

The rear shock part number in November 1964 was 48531-60050 via the 93628-64 Parts Catalog. This was also used for USA destined trucks as of October 1968 Parts Catalog 93666-68, so for 1966 that should still be correct. The 48531-69059 is the ISO version.

Hello Kurt, I don't have the '66 or '67 LPB parts books in the collection but the part number from my '65 is the same as the one Bear offered.

However, the '71-04 part number is 48531-69055 which would have preceded your superceded 48531-69059

It seems as if the earlier 48531-69055, not the original part number though, may still be available.

A quick inquiry with a less than 48hr turnaround will say for sure?

Great info, I really appreciate it!

Have either of you (Bear or 67azcruizr) ever scanned one of your parts books? I'd kill to get a copy. I have microfische for the early 40's but would dig a printed version for the 40 and 45. LMK
