Odometer / Trip Odometer not working

Alright so I just noticed neither my odometer or my trip is working. Speedo is fine.

I just replaced my fuel filter and my starter so I wanted to see if there is anything that I could have hit while changing these that would cause them to stop working, or is this just coincidence.

Also if not how hard of a job is it to fix and get it going again. Don't want to just put a new one in unless I can set the mileage.

Any help is appreciated.

Interesting development. After repeatedly hitting the trip reset button it started rolling again so not sure if it will keep going.

Be careful with the reset post; have the same issue with the trip odo. have to massage the post and watch it for the first mile.

Yep, common problem. DON'T use the trip reset button again. It is a gear tooth on that piece that comes off and wedges between teeth on the odometer.

Only way to fix it is to replace.

There is a way to reset the odometer, but it's a huge PITA. Do a search on here for it. Someone has done it, but didn't post details due to legal liability.
