So Nate picked up a sword at the Ren Fest last weekend...and he wanted to change it up so I camo'd it out and did a little paracord for a grip. has a little medieval tactical feeling to it.

Maybe I could Camo out my 4runner.

HAHA...this is why I started this thread...thought you guys might enjoy reading this. It's a letter from a 95 y.o. WWII vet to Obama...try to guess if he's happy with him or not.

Harold Estes's letter to Obama

I would like to shake that man's hand before he passes. Now that is an American! Bet you old Husanobama never responsed to that letter.

posted o your thread. I'll have to stop by after work one day to check it out. Maybe we can have some after hours wrenching in the Toyota Dealership shop. It would be nice to use a real SST.

Most of the SSTs you'd need seem to have disappeared from inventory over the years. One example is when I go to do my knuckles, I'll probably get the tools (socket, scale, etc.) from Marlin, because we simply don't have them. In some ways, you may be better equipped than I am.

I had to make my own SST for the knuckles in my 40 (axles are 60 series). Don't know if it would work for you or even if I have it anymore. My tools seem to disappear too. My son is a minor cluprit for being 6 years old and leaving tools burried in the back yard, but I loan my tools out and forget who has them.

I am guilty of that too. I have Tommy's tranny jacks, used it to pull the tranny and still need it to install the tranny but that won't be for another week or two once I am off of work for the summer.

Since you took such good care of my FJ Cruiser, I owe you some wrenching time. Let me know if I can help or if you need a place to wrench, let me know. I usually have the right tols for the job, if not, I can get them from Dusty.

Sooo, is this thread supposed to be politics, or CVC Chat?

I'll post up some chat stuff anyways. One of our friends in Atascadero has this '85 that got rolled while teaching a new driver how to work a stickshift. They ended up totalling it and getting it back for $300, then cut the top off.

This thing would be a perfect candidate for a truggy/rock rig.:hmm:

I started this so i'd have a place to put up random stuff without hijacking threads...put up whatever you like on it.
