Lol... I just found the video. Posted it on the UC site. They are gonna have a really good MLK run this year that maybe we can link up with them on... maybe a NC/SC run?
anyhow.. brought back a fond memory. Disappointed i cant make it although it sounds like it may not even happen for anyone this year.. bummer

After chatting with the other parties, this trip is officially shelved. Thought we would have more interest in it this year, since we were trying to make it the second biggest trip of the year next to Spring Tide Ride, but it's just not going to happen this year.
I partially blame myself, not having spent too much time in the planning of it, but I was hoping word of mouth had spread of the famous bobsled run.
I'll start November's trip with a poll...

No it's all your fault
This is one thing i'd love to do but you know my situation with financies and long trips.
Hopefully things will have changed by next year and I will finally be able to go. But the way things are going the Gov will most likely have closed that one also before I get my chance.
I dont see Harlan closing any time soon. It is private land and the County of Harlan is involved with the improvement of the park. THey are expanding the trails, building cabins etc.
