Just to wet everyone's appetite... Most of us still have our year long pass to Harlan, and we went to VA in July. We're switching to Harlan and making it an annual run. October 7-10 2010.

Harvest Haul to Harlan

Artwork coming up...

Registration will be up after I get Joe the artwork!

Sorry i'll be working...... i'll make it there one day.

Same weekend as our Lowcountry Boil and the Southern Crawl to Superlift.

Just an FYI...

Jeremy

Yep, we tried to co-ordinate dates with UC, UC-LC, and MATLCA so that we didn't overlap. But when we published the schedule in October 2009, I hadn't gotten any responses from the surrounding clubs, so we'll shoot for next year...

Brian I would reccomend using another camp site rather than the one we used last time. The others dont all have power like the parking lot camping but there is far more privacy compared to rigs passing your tent all the time.

We generally use camp site #3 which is a little bit up the hill. It has great views and is secluded from the trail. Heather and I plan to attend.

I want to make sure that the women folk are ok with the bathroom facilities. That's really the only reason we were down by the road. Unless we rent the cabin or the sheriff's house! Good to have you aboard again Stan!

They opened up another large cabin. Depending on turnout, it might be nice to have at least one cabin for a "base camp" so to speak, or the BIG one.

I didn't find it that much to drive down the hill to use the "facilities" though I can understand wanting the convenience also.

I hope nothing comes up because I'd love to attend...

I just missed this trip last year.
It looks like this year will finally be possible for me to go.

Hell even if the FJ40 is not working I might go anyway even if I have to wheel the wifes H3.

About the only time Heather is ever willing to drive the FJ is when we are at Harlan and she drives down to the bathrooms and shower. Jerry can attest to how private our camp at #3 is. Just us hillbillies :)

Greg, make this a sticky...DONE!

I've been asked to look into houses for this trip, so I'll have to use my contacts. But chime in if you're going to make it to this trip for headcount. I'll keep this post up to date

Keefers:3
Ashcroft: 1 (a maybe at this time)
Wellers:2
Haydens:1

Del:1 (a maybe at this time)

6 people so far maybe 8...

I'm 90% I'm gonna make this, planning some calls in Knox - just a quick drive up to Harlan - probably arriving on Fri.
I'm up for anything - but if we do camp I might have to borrow some gear - my camping stuff is burried in my storage shed!

Fudge fudge fudge, I am going to miss this again this year. Damnit.

What he said. One of my best friends is getting married that weekend. :bang:

I would like to go but do not want to take the 80. I'm game to split gas with someone or even trailer their ride...if needed.

Wife will be in Vegas so I got to find something to do :).

All cabins and houses in Putney are booked :(

Hopefully Ol' Greg can come through on the Sheriff's joint
