We have been to the wooly worm festival a couple of times. Always ate funnel cakes and the kids entered the wooly worm races. Shuts down around 3:00-4:00 so don't go too late. By the time we drove from Albemarle, didn't have a lot of time to enjoy. Says ends at 4-5 but vendors pack up earlier.

The ONSC cooker will be there.... bring whatever you want to cook on it.

Right now confirmed we have

Al - 2
Brian - 4
David -4
Ramon - 2
Mike - 2

So it is looking like at 16 people $12 per person.

The more that comes the cheaper it gets. :grinpimp:

We are backing out to a maybe. Emma was in a wreck yesterday in her 80 - probably totaled, despite not a lot of visible damage. Sorry, too much going to to commit 100%, as I'm sure you can imagine. Emma's fine, the other car not so much.

 R

Glad she's OK, good she was driving the Cruiser....

Thats a couple cruisers here been hit in the last few weeks as Robins 80 was parked in a parking lot and she was hit and the guy ran. If not for the 4x4 labs rear bumper i would been doing body work. Now just a flare and another can of black paint.

Glad to hear she will be fine.

dibs on the bumper :D (someone had too)

Sorry to hear about the 80 guys but glad Emma is well.
Make sure to take it easy for a couple days to be certain.

Evan and I shall be there

Right now we are looking at
Al -2
Brian - 4
David - 4
Mike - 2
Shaun - 2

so we are at 14, this is open for members to invite their friends and family also :D

Are Chris and Kirk in? Anyone else? Mr. Free? :)

What time is everyone gettting up there? We'll leave the Raleigh area around 2, so we'll be getting in around 6:30 or so...

I'm voting for leaving the pig cooker with Ramon, unless he's going. Not unless someone's planning on bringing something worth bringing it up for...

We're leaving Charlotte around 2pm so we'll likely be the first ones to arrive.

We won't need the cooker based on our menu.

I would like the pig cooker there. but am not going to fuss if it isn't :)

Someone will have to come get the cooker if y'all want it - we are officially out. Shopping for a LX470 and need all the weekend days we can get righ now('03 and up for around 22K if you know anyone selling). I would think it would be way overkill for the size group going, but obviously I don't care either way. It's parked inside my fence out of harm's way for short term. We'll need to figure something out for longterm storage. Hate we'll miss this - had a blast last year, but life gets in the way once again :(

Stinks, but at least everyone is safe.

Ill keep my eyes peeled for you.

Unfortunately Andrea and I are now out as well.
My state appraisal exam got moved to Saturday due to a problem at the testing center today.

I'm bummed as I was looking forward to it. It seems like this trip is cursed for me.... I miss it every year at the last second due to something coming up. :frown:
