October Club Meeting 10/15/2024

Please join the members at the October club meeting held at Rudy's BBQ. 315 S 31st St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Meeting starts at 7pm and is over when everyone leaves.

Look for us in the NorthWest corner of the dining room.

I've invited Samantha Gooch from the Forest Service to tell us about the plans for the Christmas Tree Cutting event.

I can not make this one my daughter's football playoff game starts at 7:00. I will call you later and get all caught up.

Ok. My daughter injured her leg in the prior game and now it's likely not going to okay sooo, maybe I can go to the meeting.

Sorry I missed the meeting. I was thinking it was next week. I’m looking forward to hearing what Samantha had to say about the Christmas tree runs coming up.

Meeting notes:

• Samantha did not attend.
• We had a short recap of the September events - San Juan trip and the Mosquito Pass trip.
• No treasury report
• There was a motion to hold the Christmas party at Jeremy's house, and to use the ~$200 to fund his cooking for the event. The motion passed on a unanimous vote.
• We got one new member: @Spamurai . Welcome to the club!
• There is likely to be an off-schedule trail ride to the Gulches on October 26th. Post in this thread if you're interested.
• Delicious barbecue was enjoyed by all.
