MSG is an ingredient that is controversial on whether it is bad for you or not due to the possible side affects. Regardless if it is true or not, we shy on the side of caution and choose not to use MSG products. We try to eat healthy- veggies, organic meat, minimal processed food. The wife makes numerous items homemade. Nothing personal, just how we choose to live. Some may not care, but I am sure some will.

Basically it's super concentrated sodium. As someone who loves salt already I need to limit adding it where I can. I'm sure the hot sauce is awesome, just my opinion.

I haven't gotten mine yet but am surprised it is an ingredient also. I have a sister who was in a turn-over car accident and had her head dragged along the ground. He has suffered from migraines ever since. For some reason, MSG triggers the migraines. I was never a believer until she got them when eating foods she didn't even know had it in them. I don't know the science behind it, but my sis won't be able to enjoy your sauce in my cooking now.
 
Well guys, to each their own. I guess MSG is a bigger deal than I worry about for this ole oilfield trash welder body of mine. Hopefully someone enjoys it for what the sauce is.

I/we love beer and liquor, its bad for us, but we still drink it......... If you don't drink you probably have a vice that's "bad" to someones opinion. I stand behind my opinion of this sauce and will continue to support its existence.

Anyhow, my theory is, if it tastes good... I'm eating and drinking it. No offense to anyone else. I am that part of the world that Daniel speaks of.

I'm down to 4 bottles from the case I personally ordered. Sean I need another case. Email me when you get a chance to get it coming my way.

I wanna be clear I'm not judging anyone's life style and I am very grateful for the good deal. Regardless of the MSG I'm sure I will greatly enjoy it cause I'm a lover of hot stuff!

I'll report back with some flavor reviews when it gets here. ;)

A, you are more than welcome bro. What are your plans for November? I'll be home for at least one week that month (WY) I was hoping to make a Death Valley run with some guys, but the house repairs from the flood damage come first. My :princess: has been there for the past 3 weeks dealing with the contractors, while I keep on rolling here.

Ok guy's, I'm sorry to hear some of you don't consume msg. We use it as a flavor enhancer not a preservative ,our sauce is preserved by lowering the ph to below 3.3 per FDA. As far as preservatives we didn't want to use the same ole stuff like sodium benzoate which is in almost everything YOU eat and drink and that s*** is horrible stuff. The amount of msg we use isn't much, 3% sodium on the nutrition facts.

We believe in moderation. Too much of anything isn't good but a little dab will do you rite.

I got my bottle last night. GREAT FLAVOR!! I wish there was more heat, but it's a great sauce nonetheless.

MSG does not worry me at all personally ;)

Initial reviews!

Ok, the wife, me and our 4 year old boy tried it just out of the bottle cause I couldn't wait.

The wife... Very good, tastes like "a mustard pretzel" and burned her lips.

Me... Very good and unique taste, unsure of a familiar taste per say...but surprising different from other products on the self, good spice with just about the right burn.

My 4 year old boy... "It's yucky for me"

Can't wait to eat it with actual food tonight! :D

Glad you enjoyed it Daniel. I have yet to find anything I don't like it with, whether its raw (right out of the bottle) or cooked (marinade)..
