nudge bars

me again, can anyone recomend a decent manufacturer of nudgebars or 'A' bars for the 100 series. I cant find many in the U.K that are big enough (im looking for a 80mm or 100mm dia tubing)

I'm going to assume JC is talking about "brush guards" or so-called "bull bars." Do a search on this site and you'll find those accessories are routinely dismissed as poser trash that add no value and can actually cause damage to your truck.

Some folks have reported that a minor bump that would only bruise the bumper can result in extensive sheet metal damage if the brush guard gets bent into the side panel.

If you need to be able to nudge other cars out of the way, or you want to protect against damage and possible injury from striking cattle (or kangaroos) at high speed, you should invest in an aftermarket bumper designed for the job.

I believe the A bar or nudge bar is a bar that attached to the frame simmilar to the UIS brush guargs but does not have the stuff in front of the light.

In Australia Toyota sell a nudge bar as a genuine aftermaket accessory. I think they are made by ARB. They are a really nice looking bar and meet all the vehicle and government standards.

yes i suppose u are right. 'A' bars or nudgebars (brush guards) are just a bit of a pose as there arnt a great deal of kangaroos here in the uk! i just think they look nice.A i alone here?
I will have a good look around this site abd see what i can find. cheers.
