Seems like a fair deal, but then again don't know much about the fj40 though.

I did not see it. I tried several times to make an appointment but he did not respond so I thought it was sold. Then he texted me last night and said he was taking the highest bid, what was my offer. Really don't like buying anything without seeing it in person. However, I told him I would make an offer but wanted to see the front doors first. He said pictures of the doors would be sent in 1 hour. After 4 hours I texted him that I did not receive pictures. He told me he accepted an offer??
My experience with a situation like this with little communication it probably worked out for the best. Good luck to the new owner.

Very true. I considered it but kept talking myself out of it. As you said. Probably for the best.
