Howdy,

What is a TJ80? Ad says 4.2L diesel? Would that be something factory? Any one ever heard of these guys in Aiken? I'm not sure it's what I'm looking for but thought I'd share in case someone is. No price listed, "Call for Price" always makes me not call.

Here is their web page: 1990 TJ80

Here is their Facebook page where they says it's imported from France: Car Cave USA

Looks nice, from the side at least.

Car Cave USA "Daniel Patterson southern France. We bought it from a Toyota dealership that was one of their rigs used for marketing. Center locking diff."

Not sure I'd want to buy a refurb'd Land Cruiser from some Rover guys who call it a "TJ80". But looks cool.

Based on the tires it was just painted

Yeah, I never heard of one. It does have TJ80 in the VIN. I don't know if these guys are legit or not. Seem to specialize in imports. Maybe it's a model unique to Europe? Was hoping someone more experienced than me might know.

Standard HDJ80 vin

I see they have updated their page and now properly call it an HDJ80. Listed at $46,999. More than I want to spend.

Wow. Listed as sold as of today. 12/13/20. I did not expect that.
AJ, thanks for the interest in our HDJ80. I barely got to drive it and was disappointed it sold so quickly. We purchased some more diesels including 4 more Land Cruisers, a couple crew cab Hilux, and some 4Runners. One of the triple locked HDJ80's I plan on keeping for myself and doing a build. We need something to tow our Rovers to events and also capable of recovering them when stuck! Let me know if you ever want to stop by the shop. We do sell a lot of Defenders but also try to keep a variety of vehicles from Alpines to Volvos.

Thanks! We are here 6 days a week working. Stop by anytime. I typically have another 20-30 cars here in the warehouse that are not listed on our website. Once Covid clears we will start doing events again. The HDJ80 ended up in Mt Pleasant so you might see it on the road down there in Charleston.
