under Norman USA Spec. Circumstances , NO



These use a Remote or External Mounted Voltage Regulator set fire wall or Fender Mounted

FJ60 1984 uses a PIGGY BACK Style Mounted Regulator , the small BOX saddled to the outside of it


does this make sense ?



i do not want to post a bunch of FJ60 Units Photos here in my listing , this may confuse folks

However , Many NON-USA FJ40 with a 2F engine , this Unit WILL work ,

please ALWAYS Refer to this photo for correct possible UNIT NEEDED identification

the 3 wire FEN metal Plug socket is the smoking gun for correct application in most cases


If Anyone has any Questions regarding correct application fitment etc.

please post a clear up close photo of the 3 wire socket plug connector , i can help make the correct determination of correct application or in many cases this unit i have above is indeed a UPDATE or UPGRADE to a old tired 35A -45A Units , it being a 50A unit itself .....

- If you have a Green Plastic 2 Wrire Plug or a Green Plastic 3 Wire Plug , this IS NOT the correct unit for you ...fyi

These are Genuine NipponDenso Units From JAPAN , much like a Store brand KYOSAN Fuel Pump without the Toyota name stamped on it or in the case of a AISIN Blue Box water Pump the Teq Logo has been ground off for unknown reasons there on that

so based on these facts , i have taken the time to measure the Lower PIVOT point flanges or tabs center to center Inside dimensions , also the top tab is a straight tab NO angle to it .........

These are indeed 100% a TOYOTA Land Cruiser Parts Application in every way , and WILL bolt on and Plug and Play providing you have the correct application info i have carefully outlined above .....


These are NEW units , NOT Re-manufactured

i have several NipponDenso Alternator Application Guide Books in my Library and these match every spec. i have listed thus far

- These are NOT a TOYOTA Genuine Parts Tagged Unit to be clear , ONLY Store Brand NipponDenso unit , is there a difference here on this particular point or spec. ?

- NOT in mY opinion , when a NEW unit made by NipponDenso japan went from There factory at the Robert Bosch / DENSO assembly Line in Japan , then to Toyota factory Plant A-11 for final install on the assembly line , Nothing additional was done to the unit except a TOYOTA MOTOR Corp. Propitiatory ID tag was affixed to it ......



Please feel free to PM me with any further questions , or post pics here of your old unit in question you wish to replace it with , i WILL make a concrete ID for you either way ..........
