It was a perfect day for some fall wheel'n in Uwharrie. There was a nice turnout of classic 40's, 80's and FJC's. Great group of people to wheel with both Upstate Cruisers and Old North State Cruisers.

There were some trail closures due to the recent fire and the conditions were very dry with a dusty talc covering the rocks. Since I was running solo, I didn't have a chance to take as many pictures as I like but I hope I got a shot of most everyone at some point. I didn't get a chance to take any on Daniel since I was toward the back of the group and I just tried to keep up with everyone.

Enough words, here are the pics. I've selected a few and you can see all my pics on my photobucket site...

Sweetest ride in my opinion...

Awesome pics. The BJ looked really nice. Looks like a good turnout. Wish I could have gone.

Thanks, be sure to check out the others on the photobucket site. I took ~300 pics and only 180 made the cut after I cut out the duplicates and "bad" shots.

I'm sure others will have many pics also but most spent the night. I didn't have the luxury of getting both days "off" to wheel again today. Can't wait until next time, good group of people to spend time on the trails with...

Looks like everyone had a great time. I love the first shot of the 40 by the way. Really hate that mine wasn't ready to make the trip. Hopefully next time.

the BJ was great!! ha

.........but seriously it was, that thing would just go over and through anything. Twist the knob to 1000 rpm and go! dont even know if he pulled the fancy locker lever either. Lot of cool and diverse rigs in a huge group (16 i think) that worked really well. No breakdowns and no major damage( bill check your crossmember:D) and a great weekend for wheeling!!! almost 70 in december, awesome.
