Greeting all, I'm one week into owning a 2005 GX. Coming from the Jeep world, I'm super excited to build this thing up. Today I did the woodgrain delete with vvivid black brushed aluminum vinyl. It's beautiful but I can NOT get the inside corners of the vent hols to stay down. Anyone have any tricks?
Second, I cannot get the Homelink buttons to accept my garage remote. I've followed the manual numerous times and it's being stubborn as hell. Any tricks? Are there known issues with this?

I've got an Ironman 2/2.5 FCP lift on the way and am gonna go with the FN fx pro and 285/70 17.

Sounds like you broke the clips on the vents if they won't stay put. You can try to adhere them with something like sugru and let them cure, or you can order Prado 120 vents for a lot less than OEM Lexus, unless you find them in a junkyard.

Homelink is annoying to setup. It is multi code. So you have to clear the button, then set the garage to learn, then set the button, then learn again on the garage then try it. It is frustrating.

Thanks for the reply. The vents are good, I can't get the vinyl to stay down. I did a bit more looking and someone on the HXOR Facebook suggested post heating the vinyl and using edge glue. Might just take them to a vinyl pro...idk

oooh getting the vinyl to stick...yeah, heat it up!
