hey havn't posted here spacifically yet but, been on mud for a while now any way where do you bay area cruiser heads get your tires for the best price? i wanna get a set of 33x?x15's a decent mud terrain or better. and ive also been thinking about going on the skinny side, i like the way some of the 60's ive seen skinny look. any thoughts? then afetr that ill be wanting to meet up with some of you folks and get out and see what my Rooth can really do.

I met a fellow FJ40 owner in Novato. His dad happens to own Able Tire & Brake there. He's quoted me a price for BFG mud terrains in 33"x12.50"x15" for $200 less than any quote I got in Santa Rosa in the hopes that he'd get more business from the 4-wheeling crowd. I'm buying them this afternoon.

I got the 33x12.50x15s yesterday. How skinny are you looking for? I'm sure he can order them, but I doubt he has the skinny ones in stock. I paid $798.90 out the door. awesome deal. PM me for his number. He gave me his card.

welcome Chris, nice to meet you.

the tires have a lot tread on them, but have been wheeled thus the sides and edges have wear.

If you decide to go used as opposed to new, drop me a note...

Be sure to bring that wagon on the McGrew Trail Ride on July 28th, it will fit right in.

If those are BFG's I might be interested. I ruined one last Rubithon and have been using a spare with only half the tread. If they are still around in week and a half I'll see you in the springs and let you know if I'm in the market.

nice looks like good times how long does it take you other bay area guys to get there?

a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time ;-)
Most will say 6 hours or so. It took me more like 8 going up I-5 in my FJ40. Last year we went up 101 and got stuck in Orick because of a truck accident for 3 hours. It was STILL an awesome trip. Great folks and lots of fun.

8 hrs huh well i got nothing better to do with my time might as well start taking looooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg cruises and bond some more with my baby, (just don't tell wifey she might get jelous) if it's physically possible ill be there
