NooB 89 Toyota Hilux - Has broken front and rear springs.

First Post... Damsel in distress!! 89 Hilux 2.8 Ltr Diesel, SFA : Would appreciate any words of advice on front and rear spring replacement. I hear that the 85 Runner has compatible springs(?) Not sure about that... Also been told to go OME for front springs for sure, not sure how easy they are to get in B.C?? Or go for some custom work from Alberta. Only want to this once so i'm open to suggestions and would be happy for the help!!

OME is definitely recommended, but I'm not sure about suppliers up there. I've read on here lately that it's getting very difficult ($$$) to import parts.

Assuming the rear springs in your '89 are the same as they are in the states, the rears from an '85 4Runner will not fit, they are too short.

There's a few places, maybe try giving Steve at EBI in Vancouver a call. OME should work fine, or order something from marlin crawler or trail gear, actually I think TG has stock in Vancouver as well (NSOR)

Depends a bit where you are in B.C. FWIW, ARB/OME have an office close to or in Seattle.
