Are there any in US? Or is it going to be a custom design/order? Would love a TJM T17 or T3 w/o the big hoops.

small hoop in the middle but I think this is about as close as you can get off the shelf without having a custom one built

ARB makes the Sahara bar without the chrome hoop.

You could also contact Mike at Bump It Off Road. He can make anything custom

I am using an ARB Sahara

the fog lights in the bumper are extra

Nice clean look without the hoop. I like it better that way.

I have the T3 with the optional bull bar on my 2002. I'd be happy to meet up if you want to see it in person. I'm local, as you know!

Thanks

For some reason I was never subscribed to my own thread, and missed your offer. No that snow has melted perhaps we could catch up and talk hundies?

@benc Is making one of the best looking bumpers for a 100 I've seen. He's giving his customers the option to choose between just the bumper, a small stinger, or a full grille/headlight guard. I'd definitely check his stuff out.

BenC I would love to see some pics of how the DIY kit will ship. I'm just curiuos to know how extensive the welding/assembly will be/how assembled the different pieces will be. I guess my question is, will all the pieces be fresh off the water jet/plasma table and nothing welded together (giant pile of random shapes of metal) or will there be certain areas/pieces that come already welded together? I want to be able to set aside the right amount of time to weld it all up.

Nothing will be welded. The center section and wings are all formed in a cnc press brake so there is minimal welding on those. There are alignment slots and tabs on most of the pieces so you can literally weld together without even getting out the tape measure. This isn't like most DIY kits where all joints and bends need to be welded. Any piece that could be bent is bent so there is very minimal welding.

Only the vertical seams will need welded, all horizontal are bent. Also notice the little rectangular slots, there are corresponding tabs the fit into these slots so it's pretty fool proof!

That is fantastic. It looks like the bends on the wings will need to be welded, correct?
