Started my truck today! Great stuff, first time since I had the engine out for the new crank.

However, shift into reverse and get nothing. Just revs like it's in park or neutral. Same thing with drive, 2 and Low. Going back into park there's a pretty quiet bit of noise from the transmission. Almost like a creak.

No issues with the transmission prior to this. Flywheel is bolted as it should be and wire harness from transmission is connected and undamaged.

Frankly I'm not even sure where to start with this. Any thoughts on the matter?

Check that your t-case is in gear...?

Also check trans oil level (when running).
